Priyanka Chopra is on the verge of signing a three-film deal that will give the actress a chance to show her range.
The trio of movies would be shot in Marathi and will run in the order of a family comedy, followed by a period drama and then a thriller.
A spokesperson for Chopra said: "The films will have a multi-lingual approach with added dialogues in Hinglish to give them a larger appeal."
If the deal with the Spectra Multimedia is reached, the films are expected to be filmed by the middle of 2010 at the latest.
The deal with give the production house exclusive rights over the actress as well as see the firm handle her endorsement contracts.
